Peripatetic piano and guitar teacher with around fifty students a week, and a long-standing suspicion of any app that promises to replace practice.

Tom teaches piano and guitar in three schools and at home, which means he sees the same fifty students week after week and knows exactly which practice tools survive contact with a teenager. He tests music software the only way that counts: by giving it to students and seeing whether they still use it a month later.
